Give us this day,
our daily dregs,
the sound of hungry dogs,
and a fistful of coal
to kick from one end of the street
to the next.
It is a sad game
of sorts, at best.

This had me laughing out loud! Ah. You know, I saw the title and I was like…ok….braced myself (hey, not saying that there’s anything wrong with ‘blessing’ – but some of the people that write them..well), and then this gem.

Hey Kenneth, I never thought of it like that, but now? Crap, I can’t stop thinking of it that way myself. You are very right, if I’m thinking of the same things you are, and this could have gone horribly, HORRIBLY awry.
